1. ABOUT THE BOOK :
Un petit rappel s’impose… Dans « The Upside to Being Single« , Mellie rencontre Jake après un défi de ses 2 meilleures amies Peyton et Chloe.
Dans « The Hook-Up Experiment » on retrouve Peyton, patronne de « Pick-A-Dick ». PAD lui permet d’organiser la rencontre de 2 personnes mais uniquement pour un plan cul. Son frère Dominic quant à lui, gère avec Chloe un site de rencontre. Il est donc très souvent en désaccord avec sa soeur sur son activité professionnelle…
Dominic propose un pari à Peyton : il choisit un homme dans la base des futurs candidats de Peyton et elle devra coucher avec lui 3 fois en 2 semaines. Si elle ne tombe pas amoureuse, elle gagne. Sinon Dominic lui aura prouvé qu’elle avait tort.
Finalement Mellie et Chloe sont chargées de choisir l’heureux élu. Sûres d’elles, leur choix se portent sur Elliott Sloane : celui dont Peyton était amoureuse au lycée, et qui est la personne qu’elle déteste le plus au monde… Vraiment ?

In « The Hook-Up Experiment » we follow Peyton, owner of « Pick-A-Dick ». Thanks to PAD she helps 2 people to meet for an hook-up, according to their tastes. Her brother Dominic, owns with Chloe, a dating website. He often disagrees with his sister’s job…
Dominic wants Peyton to make a bet with him : he picks a guy in her submission files and she has to sleep 3 times on 2 weeks with him. If she doesn’t fall in love with the guy, she wins. Otherwise, he’ll prove to her she was wrong.
At last, Mellie and Chloe have to pick the One. They are so sure of themselves, they choose Elliott Sloane : the guy Peyton was in love in highschool, and the person she hates the most… Really ?
2. MON AVIS/MY REVIEW :
Je dois dire que j’ai passé un excellent moment pendant ma lecture. Il y a plusieurs types de relations développées dans cette histoire :
- Amicale : j’aime beaucoup la relation entre Mellie, Chloe et Peyton : elles s’adorent mais elles sont très honnêtes les unes envers les autres.
- Amoureuse : ici l’histoire de Peyton et Elliott a tous les ingrédients que j’apprécie : un passé commun, un entourage un peu fou, et des dialogues très directs.
- Familiale : Peyton a une relation très spéciale avec son frère Dominic et leur grand-mère. Des conversations très drôles à ne pas mettre dans toutes les mains 😉
C’est (très !) drôle et (très !) sexy !
Si vous avez envie de passer un bon moment avec une fan de Friends, lisez l’histoire de Peyton ! Vous ne serez pas déçue.

I have to say I had a good time with this book. There are different kind of relationships in this story :
- Friendship : I love the relationship between Mellie, Chloe, and Peyton : they love each other but they are very honest too.
- Romantic : Peyton and Elliott’s story is everything I love : a mutual past, a crazy entourage and direct talks.
- Family : Peyton has a very special relationship with her brother Dominic and their grandmother. Funny conversations but not for everyone ears.
It’s (very!) funny and (very!) sexy !
If you want to have a good time with a Friends fan, you have to read Peyton’s story ! You won’t be disappointed 😉
